Robert Everett Snapp,
85 of Las Vegas, NV,passed away August 7, 2009. Robert was born February 18, 1924 in Joliet, Illinois and was a long time resident of Southern California. He was an avid pilot and enjoyed recreational travel with his family and friends. He was the builder and owner of apartment buildings in California. He moved to Las Vegas in 1997 where he was co-owner and manager of Snapp Apartments. Robert was awarded the Purple Heart after having served as a US Navy Pilot in WWII. Robert is survived by his wife, of 42 years, Jeanette, four children, Mary Curren and Barbara Carlson of Irvine, and Debra Clapp and Susan Chapson of Las Vegas. He has eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Dorothy Wright of Fullerton. The Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, August 29 at 2 PM. at Davis Funeral Home and Memorial Park. 6200 South Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89119.
