right on! that was one of the first mods i did/have done to my mustang! How'd it work?
I have an AFE cold air inake, advertised 15hp. I loved it at first but got used to it until one day I was going to ake it off and sell it to buy a different upgrade but when I put the stock back on and took a drive, i felt like I was driving a 6 cylinder as opposed to my 8. total difference! needless to say I didn't sell it! Also, if you like it enough you might want to look into a C&L upper intake plenum... I picked up one of those and it seemed to add alot to the cold air intake, more air and what not...havwen't been able to tune it because I don't really know where to go to, but it still runs good! just someting to look into! and congrats on the upgrade! self install?

My friend Erik installed it for me 2 yrs ago this month and I'm just now getting back to my project,I recently joined Mid florida Mustang Club and I want to get my pony..car
show ready
,thanks for the plenum idea. Yeah I love the extra take-off,I learned to watch my speedometer, cause I respect my authorities 8-) And about your tuning, maybe somebody reading this from within your area can suggest someone or a few TRUSTWORTHY shops, 1 of the reasons it's taken me soo long is
that they're were too many family emergencies...later.
