Jeremy, both the '67 fastback and blue '68 were at the car show we went to last Friday!! Remember me drooling on the paint job of the fastback.....I mean over the paint job. It's so smooth the paint looks like it's liquid!! :thatworks:

Yeah, I didnt even realize until Monday we work at the same company, the mach1 was parked next to me and i bumped into him. Small world!

And yeah, that paint job is even more stunning in real life than the pictures. It was my favorite car of the show by far.

It was nice talking to you yesterday Brian, I can't wait to see how that SVO comes out. Let us know what you think of that new shop too, we do need a decent shop around here.

During the KDMS show, I talked some people from a speed shop in Tualitin. It looks like they do mostly resto stuff, but not sure what else they do, I'm gonna go check them out soon.

You can't beat talking cars....

I take the 67 to PSI tomorrow. They are gonna bring in a guy who knows wWebers and maybe do a dyno tune at wide open throttle. It depends on if they have all the necessary parts. I talked with Jason when I went in and he impessed me. Now, I hope he can deliver what he said.

The motor is out of the SVO and the short block is turning into a long block. It'll probably be a month or so before the motor goes in. I still have to track down a few things like a 8.8, exhaust, water lines, and a few other things.

If you were drooling on my car Friday, you'd probably have a hole in your chest and I would have spent Saturday cleaining up my garage instead of going to the show. :D

I got 3rd place in my class and I took best paint at the show. I get a lot of comments about the paint. And when the sun shines on it, it gets a glow that doesn't show up in pictures.
